4ft x 4ft oil paint on perspex

The artist paints on top of clear acrylic panel and suspends it several inches above the wall in order to cast shadows.

The same root used to make “Roots Outstretched” is abstracted again and visually compressed together to create a landscape-like image.

Here they are painted on man-made acrylic panel, using man-made oil paints and mediums, in attention-grabbing bright colors.

Plastic is here to stay. We have to come to terms with nature's dwindling presence. Nature learns to live with humanity's overwhelming presence.
